Kadmiel is one determined young man! Even though he is only in the 11th grade, by his large vocabulary and confident personality, he seems far beyond his years. He is not afraid of a challenge or hard work.”I enjoy history because it talks about famous people and their achievements.” I am sure his future holds a few achievements of his own one day. He also shared what he wishes to do when he graduates by saying, ” I want to be in Business Finances.” Along with all of his many other subjects, he takes an extra course on Programming in the afternoons to expand his knowledge of computers, so he can better run his business. But, when he’s not hard at work planning his future, he enjoys reading, especially the entire Harry Potter book series. Music is also a big part of Kadmiels life, as he likes to play the guitar and drums with his closest friends. The last thing we asked him was his thoughts on Gods word. His reply was quite fitting, “My favorite part is about Paul, because he was too brave and too persistent-  I want to be like that!.”

You may sponsor Kadmiel for $35.00 a month which provides meals, medical care and an education at Christian Light School in Port Au Prince, Haiti.

Have you seen Kadmiel in your recent trips? How is he? Our family prays for him and Project James every day and hope to meet him sometime soon. Please get with me next week at church. I have been wondering how we can get things together to make a trip with you all. The girls and Dylan have been asking about funding to go and when it might be possible. Thoughts? We would love to make it happen! How old is Kadmiel now? Do you know how school is going for him? We know he was taking a test for school this past year. How did he do? Please let me know if you have any other info. We would love to hear more!
    With Love,
    Mark, Ashley, and Kids!

Haha! You can tell I’m up too late..or maybe too early! I just was reading the latest newsletter and it gave the info for the trip! Please let me know any ideas for raising funds. We would all really love to go, but that is six of us, and financially a bit much for us right now with the flight price. Ideas?

      Ashley,
This is a challenge for large families but not for our Rich Papa as Ms. Sherrie always says. If God is telling you and the family to go there are some practical ways to help fund raise, yard sale, bake sale & send out a support letter. There are some other ideas as well that can save some money on the trip we can discuss at church or via phone. Kadmiel is doing great and thank you for praying for him and Project James. Kadmiel is in the 10th grade now and will be part of our first graduating class from Christian Light School. He is a very bright young man and is 17 years old. He passed all his test and continues to excel in class. We do see Kadmiel each trip he is one of the children outside of the children who live at the orphanage I do see each trip.
