Dienika is very serious and studious. She told me that she wants to be a nurse one day, and isn’t afraid of an academic challenge because “if you take it serious, it will be easy [but] if you don’t take it serious, you will fail”. Dienika loves to read – in French, Creole and English, and studies her lessons in her free time. The part she enjoys most in the Bible is the story of David “when he sang after he confessed his sin”.
