Junior applies himself to all of his studies, and can name mathematics, phonics, and spelling as three immediate favorites areas of study. He also enjoys drawing pictures as part of his assignments in school, or during his free time. When asked what he wants to be after he finishes school, he responded that his dream is to be an advocate, “because [he sees] that as [his] job”. His favorite story in the Bible is the one of David conquering Goliath. Not surprising when you realize the gigantic obstacles that could dissuade this young man from his dream, and yet, even as a 3rd grader, he is working toward accomplishing it with serious determination.
