Christa’s favorite part of the Bible is Proverbs 3, verse 17. When I asked her to paraphrase what the words of that verse mean, she told me “God said I will give you good things. I will look after you. I will open your intelligence to all of the things”. When she is not busy studying her fourth grade work, Christa enjoys playing hide-and-seek, and dreams of a future occupation in which she can bake delicious cakes, which anyone is invited to try.
